Now I'm on a mission to help other women find food confidence!  True wellness means something different to all of us.  Fitness, longevity, calm, joy - we each have our own ideal.  Food is the common denominator!  What we feed ourselves matters, not just to our bodies, but to our minds and spirits.  I believe nourishing food is the foundation of true wellness.

I'm Amy - a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist and Certified Health Coach.
I help women in midlife feel calm and confident about food and nutrition!

It's all about empowerment!  I help women cut through all the conflicting garbage about nutrition in popular culture to find their own path to wellness. Together we will move beyond fear and worry to embrace curiosity, joy, and adventurousness, in the kitchen and in life.

Trust me, I've been there. Chronic yo-yo dieting, yep.  Health challenges, you bet. GI issues, chronic fatigue, Epstein-Barr, autoimmune disease, depression, anxiety, and the list goes on. And then… peri-menopause. (What fresh hell is this?)

 I struggled for decades with my health, feeling frustrated and helpless, finding few answers in the medical world.

 I knew I had to take control of my health by focusing on the way I was nourishing myself (or not!) mind, body, and spirit. I enrolled in a Master's of Nutrition program at Bastyr University and spent over a decade earning my RDN credential while raising two children. I learned all about nourishing myself with a whole foods diet and lifestyle, and my health rebounded in ways I never thought possible.

 I'd love to share my wisdom so you can feel better too!

There is joy and pleasure in eating and creating food that nourishes us and the ones we love.  There is an Irish proverb that says:  "Laughter is brightest in the place where the food is."  That's me - dancing in the kitchen and laughing my way through all the best meals.
